Having over-powered my original Yankee and lost
it, I felt guilty and bought a replacement kit. Thinking the original
could be better looking, I cut new fins - sort of inspired by the old Estes
Mark - and swapped nosecones for a more streamlined look. She
turned out really nice.
To avoid temptation, this new Yankee was equipped with a 13mm motor
mount with motor hook. Not only can it NOT take a B or C motor, but
the hook makes for easier prep than the friction-fit of the original.
