Twister
Several rocket vendors have had kits named Twister over the years. This one is from Custom Rockets.

Although the product info says this rocket spins on its way down, there are no provisions such as canted fins to make it do that.  Nor does it spin.  But it's still a cool looking rocket.

It was intended to use 18mm motors, but I opted to install a 13mm mount in it.  It uses lawn-dart recovery, and is prone to splitting the fins where the dowel is joined at the leading edge.  Reinforcement is recommended along that line.

This one came down in the parking lot at the local park, so I opted to rebuild it.

The flat spot on the nosecone was built out, and the badly kinked body tube cut off and replaced with a stretched section to allow for a proper recovery system.

The newly rebuilt model turned out quite nice.
