Attending NARCON in 2001, I picked up several Edmonds
rocket gliders from BMS.
Never
having
flown
one,
I
didn't
really
know what to expect. This
turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
It was an easy build, and it flies great. Every
rocketeer should try
one. Since weight is critical for glide recovery, the recommended
finish is magic markers. It's not as pretty as paint, but it
greatly
improves visibility, and no sanding was required.
