Our garage is my rocket shop.  We don't have basements in Texas, and with four kids, there aren't any spare rooms in our house either, so the garage was commandeered to be my shop.

A nice, oversized 2-car garage would be great.  I could have a shop AND park cars.  As it is, we have a 1.9 car garage.  With it converted to a shop, we can squeeze in 1 car, but only in an emergency.

There's a special place in he!! for some of these homebuilders....

Starting in the southeast corner:  Those are pipe clamps hanging on the wall for the cabinets I never make anymore.  Next to them is the auxiliary electrical panel I added ("I got your power, Cap'n!") followed by some pegboard with saw blades and other stuff.

My drill press is just to the left of the main electrical panel.

Here's my 1987 Craftsman table saw.  It doesn't see much rocket use, but it makes a great stand for my drill press which does.  Lower right is my 1988 Craftsman shop vac still going strong as is my 30 year old JCPenney radio atop the table saw.

Here's my 1987 Craftsman radial arm saw.  It sees lots of rocket use.  Besides cutting tubes, it's a painting station and lathe station.

Many of my rockets get primed here, and I clean brushes here, too.

This little lathe is perfect for turning nosecones and transitions.

Vital in any shop is storage space.  These heavy duty shelving units were ~60 dollars each, and were very easy to assemble.
