The yellow base coat was picked to give it improved visibility over the original white.  I mistakenly painted the nosecone blue, but later, upon seeing the catalog pic, realized it should be black and repainted it accordingly.

I added gap staging vents to the booster and left out the motor block so that Estes E-motors can be used in the sustainer.  The staging vent is visible near the forward end of the booster.

I originally used silver paint on the payload bay, and it came out...er..well, not silver but gray.  So I ended up applying chrome trimkote over it, and that looks much better.

I purchased some Tango Papa decals for the fins but ended up using trimkote for those, too.

I have a video camera I am preparing to use for rocketry, and may use the Omega to boost it.  It won't look like a Cineroc, but it will be a tribute of sorts.
