LOC Hi-Tech H45
I got my NAR Level 1 high power certification with this LOC Hi-Tech H45 at LDRS near Amarillo in the summer of 2002.  It was quite a weekend, but I finally made it.

It flew on a 2-grain Cesaroni.  Estimated altitude was over 3500 feet, but easily tracked in the clear skies over Wayside, Texas.

The delay was a tad long resulting in a tiny zipper in the payload section (see below), but not enough to disqualify the flight.  The repaired payload section is show at right.
