| Sometimes I can't leave well enough alone. I couldn't
just build and fly this thing as it was designed. Instead I put a
24mm motor mount in it and filled it with 2-part foam to make it more rugged.
So far, I've flown it twice on C5-3's. Both times it crashed.
The second time it broke the nosecone. Yes, it had noseweight - lots of
it - probably too much. I'll review yet again the simulation data
to try and determine the necessary noseweight.
Not to be discouraged, I bought two more. I'll get one of them
to fly yet. |
