Inspired by "October Sky", I searched out a hobby
store and bought this kit thereby becoming a BAR. I soon had it assembled
and went back for more - a Yankee and a Big
Bertha.
This is the classic Estes starter kit, and one of everyone's favorites.
This one has long been a regular flyer for me. It has survived one
zipper; I painfully learned that short delays are a no-no. It was
repaired and returned to active service.
It currently is semi-retired. If I can ever get a new shock cord
attached, I may fly it again. |
