| The Streak, Scout
and Sprite
are perhaps the
most revered of the Estes classic rockets. Nearly every
1960's/1970's
rocketeer had one or more of these kits.
Here are mine. The plan all along had been
to get them all built and finished, give them each
a token (low risk) flight and retire them to the display case, but I
managed to completely trash the Streak and had to completely refinish
it.
It looks greatr now, and I keep it and the the
other two on display on my bookcase where
they
can be admired without danger :)
